Early this morning, I noticed as I was monitoring one of the pages I manage that a new Facebook feature had quietly crept onto the scene. Basically, when you hover over someone’s name on a post or comment, a bubble (not unlike WordPress’s snap previews) will pop up, displaying the option to friend the person (if you haven’t already), a larger profile photo, and an option to send them a message.

I find this useful, because as a page moderator and admin, I do sometimes have to directly message our fans to resolve customer complaints, etc. It saves me a couple of clicks vs. having to click through to their profile, and then click through again to message them.  Revolutionary or life changing? Not really. But it will probably save me a few minutes a week.
